In more controlled conditions, without the time pressures associated with boat diving, we will take you through what you need to practice at a pace which works for you. Cornwall ad-hoc training
Dive with Mark Paisey as and when you need!
Based in North Cornwall, Padstow area, you can dive with BSAC’s National Coaching Advisor, Mark Paisey and get as much or as little of the Dive Leader course as suits. Even complete the whole Dive Leader syllabus in only 7 days!
Diving costs typically £35 per boat dive. All that’s needed is for you to bring yourself, a buddy and your kit!

Want your chance to get some amazing dive leading experience, meet new buddies and challenge yourself with new types of diving and locations? Then a diving expedition might be the answer. Up to 4 days of diving and planning with some of our most experienced instructors and mentors. Because you are diving with the same team for a number of days, it represents a great opportunity for coaching, feedback and development of areas which are sometimes difficult to tackle on a single day of training. Theory and exams
Get clued up on your dive leader theory…
We will be running one final run through of the Dive Leader theory sessions. They are all scheduled for Monday evenings from 7pm onwards. Each session is a double-header with two, complimentary lectures paired together. As such, each session will be a little longer than normal and will be at a slightly faster pace. But don’t worry – you can revisit recordings of our slightly less frantic sessions via the BSAC website (remember – watching pre-records is not sufficient for getting sign-off)
We will also be offering opportunities for you to sit your exam online with one of our instructor team!
